Coney Island

The songs that I've been writing for my new album are somewhat mornful, and I don't know if it's going to be so typical of The Bossettes sound. I mean, I won't really know until I record, but I feel that it might be different, mostly because The Bossettes are different.
Lately I just play by myself, and Kate and Michelle are living their lives, which doesn't really involve the music we make together so much (which is completely fine, I understand!)
Anyway. I've been thinking about maybe changing my name since the name The Bossettes really suggests more than one, and I feel I want to have something new.

I'm thinking of Coney Island.
Let me know what you think.

Happy yet heartbreaking.

That's really shitty. I still want to make music with you and I'm more than willing to travel to get together and try to take things more seriously. I've tried to get re-involved time and time again, however, I feel like when you schedule shows you don't make an effort to include me in what's going on. I understand if you feel more comfortable playing without Michelle and I these days, that's fine, but I would rather you not think of it as me being off living my life. I want my life to consist of traveling to shows to play with you. You dig? It's just really shitty. I'm glad that you are proud of the album you've written, but I think in turn you've ceased to consider me as your good friend that originally started this whole thing with you. It's just disappointing I guess.

No hard feelings though. Your view of the situation just left a bad taste in my mouth.
