This is one of my favorite pictures of my grandmother. I love her pose and her glasses and her black hair, and I especially love her dress.


I always wished that she still had it so I could try it on (which she doesn't, of course)
but I went to the NTCH (a really great thrift store in Welsboro, PA) with some friends last week and found one that is pretty close and made around the same time.
