Also, so I don't forget.
Cinnamon Oat Biscuits (Vegan)
Ingredients:
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup quick oats
- 2 1/2 tsps yeast
- 1 cup water (1 1/4 cup all together, really)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbls cinnamon
- 4 tsps sugar
- Preheat oven to 400* F.
- Put yeast in 1/4 cup warm water, let sit for 5 mins.
- Mix dry ingredients together.
- Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour the yeast in, but an additional 1 cup of water.
- Knead together a bit.
- Let the dough rise for an hour.
- Knead the dough, and roll out with a rolling pin.
- Take a glass (I used what I like to call my goblet) and press it into the dough to cut out your biscuits.
- Grease a cookie sheet and place those mothers on there to cook for 8 mins.
- Take the biscuits out and sprinkle some sugar over them. Cook for 4 more mins.
- Take out and let cool.
- Eat!
